One Thing Every Founder Needs But Rarely Finds
The lack of clarity holds you back — and it has nothing to do with intelligence.
Hi Founder,
I know you are desperately searching for it.
A better strategy. A stronger offer. The perfect hire.
But after three years of working closely with tech entrepreneurs and building my own business from scratch, I keep seeing the same pattern again and again.
Founders are missing clarity.
And almost nobody talks about it honestly.
This lack of clarity holds you back — and it has nothing to do with intelligence.
The Key to Real Success
It’s not just your product features. It’s not just finding ideal customers. It’s not just following your passion.
It’s all three — your product, your target market, and you as the founder — moving in exactly the same direction, in perfect sync.
I call this Product-Market-Founder Fit (PMFF).
Without this alignment, everything feels harder than it should be. Revenue stays unpredictable. Momentum slips away. And no matter how hard you push, something always feels slightly off.
Why Experienced People Get This Wrong
Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Many talented corporate professionals get laid off due to AI-driven restructuring. They decide to reinvent themselves as entrepreneurs.
But the longer your corporate career, the harder real clarity becomes.
Corporate life trains you to execute someone else’s vision. You optimize inside an existing system. You’re rewarded for being predictable, hardworking, and likable.
Entrepreneurship demands the opposite.
You must build the vision, the system, and the product, while rediscovering who you are without the old business card title.
Most aspiring tech founders skip the inner work and jump straight into execution mode.
Execution without clarity just speeds you up in the wrong direction.
My Own Wake-Up Call
In 2021, I had over 10 years in enterprise sales, marketing, and customer service. Hundreds of strong relationships. Big deals closed. A track record that looked ready for anything.
But I was professionally stuck and quietly burning out.
In 2022, I walked away from it all. Sold everything in Helsinki, packed a backpack, and left.
Scuba diving in Thailand. Hiking the Blue Mountains in Australia. Surfing in Portugal.
I thought space and time would make the next chapter obvious.
It didn’t.
It took three full years of testing, failing, pivoting, and honest self-discovery to reinvent myself as an entrepreneur — not just someone skilled at a job, but someone building something meaningful.
Even in 2025 it was still difficult. Growth mindset and market knowledge still weren’t enough.
I needed better product that didn’t depend 100% on my personal time and presence.
That realization led me to create Founder OS — a practical growth system shaped by my own hard lessons and tested with real founders.
The Question That Changed Everything
The breakthrough wasn’t a new location or a better campaign.
It was a simple shift in the question I asked myself.
Instead of “What should I do next?” I started asking:
“Where do my real strengths, the most urgent customer pain, and a scalable product actually overlap?”
That overlap is Product-Market-Founder Fit (PMFF).
My definition: Product-Market-Founder Fit is the moment when a founder’s passion and strengths align with a product that perfectly satisfies a customer’s need, creating the foundation for unstoppable growth.
Simple to understand. Genuinely hard to achieve.
But once you find it, the whole game changes.
The Three Hidden Gaps Killing Your Progress
PMFF misalignment usually shows up in one (or more) of these areas:
1. The Inner Game (Founder)
Are you motivated, leading yourself with clarity, and making confident decisions? Or are you reactive, doubting yourself, and still carrying an identity from your corporate past?
Without a strong inner game, no strategy ever feels right.
2. The Value Engine (Product)
Are you building from real customer insight, adapting quickly, and delivering repeatable value? Or are you just adding features in isolation, hoping the right buyers appear?
3. The Growth Engine (GTM)
Are you reaching the right people with a clear, converting message and a scalable sales process? Or is your pipeline just random conversations with no system?
Most founders I coach are strong in one or two areas — but weak in the third.
For example, technical founders who are brilliant at building but missing basic sales skills. Or commercial founders who understand customers well but have no idea how to code or build the actual product.
How You Know You’ve Actually Found PMFF
Clarity is the start. Real validation comes from uncomfortable action:
Talk to 100 potential customers (ideally face-to-face)
Offer your MVP to 10–20 early adopters before charging full price
Run real market experiments for 3–6 months
You’re close when:
Over 30% of qualified prospects are ready to buy
Over 60% of customers happily recommend you
Renewals happen naturally because they want more
Anyone can sell their time. Very few learn to build real, scalable value.
That’s the difference between earning a salary and building a real business.
Move the Needle Right Now
Before you do anything else today, answer these three questions honestly:
Who do you want to serve for the next decade — and why?
What strengths and experiences make you uniquely valuable to them?
What product could solve their most painful, expensive problem?
Where all three overlap… that’s your goldmine.
